SNSA Crowns Spring 2012 Adult League Champions

GAM3 OV3R, Here for Beer and Heat Coaches Win "Best of the Best" Titles
The Southern Nevada Soccer Association Spring 2012 Adult League season came to an exciting conclusion with the crowning of five playoff champions in the Coed 8v8, Coed 5v5 and Men's 8v8 divisions on Sunday, May 20 at Anthem Hills Park. In the Coed 8v8 "Best of the Best" division GAM3 OV3R overcame a 3-1 deficit with two late goals to defeat defending champion Shamrock Rovers, 4-3. In the Coed 8v8 "Best of the Rest" division, The Damned United eclipsed Net Rippers 4-2 to secure the second division championship.
The Coed 5v5 "Best of the Best" finals required a PK shootout to determine the winner, as Here for Beer and Ball Knockers were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation play. Here for Beer prevailed 3-2 in the ensuing shootout to win the championship. In the Coed 5v5 "Best of the Rest" playoff division, the Mixed Nuts defeated Kiss My Pass 6-2 to earn the title.
The Men's 8v8 division league championship matched Sting against defending champion Heat Coaches. The Sting posted a 1-0 first half lead, but Heat Coaches rallied for two second-half goals to win 2-1 for their third straight league championship.
