Registration for the Southern Highlands United Spring 2017 season is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2016 and will run through January 13, 2017. The Spring 2017 season features league play for U5-U12 divisions; our Mini Kickers program for players born 8/1/12 - 7/31/13; and our High School Spring Training program for players in grades 9-12. Leagu play starts on or after March 4, 2017 and continues through May 13, 2017. Note - we will accept registration after the January 13 on-time deadline on a space available basis; late registration may be subject to a $10 late fee.
The registration fee includes 8-9 scheduled league games (6 for Mini Kickers; 6-8 for High School), full uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), secondary medical insurance, reserved practice fields, coach training, player technical training (U5-U12), goalkeeper training (U9-HS), and referee fees (all divisions except U5/U6). Both boys and all-girls divisions are offered at all age levels. Small-sided play formats are used to maximize technical skill development. We host a league tournament at the end of the season for U7-HS teams (optional – additional fee). We emphasize skill development, sportsmanship and fun!

Southern Nevada Soccer Association established the Southern Highlands® United (SHU) Youth Soccer league in the fall of 2008 to serve the Southern Highlands® and surrounding Southwest Valley community. SHU offers recreational soccer for players ages 4-11. Teams are formed with coaches and players that live in the southwest valley, and SNSA provides dedicated practice fields for these teams. When possible, league games are played in the Southern Highlands® area. If there are not a sufficient number of SHU teams to form a full division, SHU teams play in the equivalent Henderson United Youth Soccer age division, and games are played in the Anthem/Seven Hills area. With the population growth in the south valley and the planning of a regional park in the south valley, we believe SHU has a bright future!
Valuable information for team organization, SHU values & beliefs, principles of conduct and player safety.
