Registration for the Southern Highlands United Youth Soccer Spring 2017 youth league season is now closed. Registration for our Fall 2017 youth league season will begin in June. Fall 2017 league play will start on September 9th and end on or before November 11th. SHU will offer youth league play for boys and girls ages 4-12. Registration fees include 8-9 league games, uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), secondary medical insurance, practice fields, coach training, player technical training (U5-U12), goalkeeper training (U9-U12), and referee fees (except U5/U6).
We will also offer our Mini Kickers program for 3-year olds, which consists of six sessions with a training component conducted by our SNSA Mini Kickers technical director, followed by 3v3 game play. Mini Kickers registration also includes the Mini Kickers kit (jersey, shorts, socks, shin guards, ball), secondary medical insurance, and coach training.
Check the SNSA website in late May for more information about Fall 2017 season registration.
Southern Nevada Soccer Association established the Southern Highlands® United (SHU) Youth Soccer league in the fall of 2008 to serve the Southern Highlands® and surrounding Southwest Valley community. SHU offers recreational soccer for players ages 4-11. Teams are formed with coaches and players that live in the southwest valley, and SNSA provides dedicated practice fields for these teams. When possible, league games are played in the Southern Highlands® area. If there are not a sufficient number of SHU teams to form a full division, SHU teams play in the equivalent Henderson United Youth Soccer age division, and games are played in the Anthem/Seven Hills area. With the population growth in the south valley and the planning of a regional park in the south valley, we believe SHU has a bright future!
Valuable information for team organization, SHU values & beliefs, principles of conduct and player safety.
