SNSA Competitive Program - Heat FC

   Your home for soccer in the las vegas valley!

    Heat FC - Nevada's Only Club Accepted by Elite Clubs National League

    Heat FC is the only soccer club in Southern Nevada that is approved to play in US Club Soccer's prestigious Elite Clubs National League (ECNL).  Heat FC's top boys and girls teams in the U13-U18 divisions participate in ECNL, one of the top youth leagues in the United States for player development and college recruitment.  For Southern Nevada players interested in playing college soccer, ECNL offers the best developmental path to achieve that goal.

    THE ECNL MISSION

    The ECNL was founded in 2009, originally established only for girls club teams; a boys division was added in 2017.  The mission of the ECNL is to enhance the developmental experience of youth soccer players in the United States through these principles:

    • Improving the competitive environment through creation of a true national competitive league with multiple flights;
    • Improving the process for identifying elite soccer players for the U.S. Soccer youth national teams through a systematic scouting and identification program based on national competitions; and
    • Improving the daily training environment at top youth soccer clubs through developing best practices and training and organizational guidelines for its member clubs .

    THE ECNL GOAL

    The goal of the ECNL is to change the landscape for elite soccer players in the United States through innovative, player-centered programming and to enhance the overall experience by creating a better, more enjoyable, and more successful player, coach, and club development model. Additionally, the ECNL hopes to limit financial inequities in order to improve inclusion of and opportunities for socio-ethnographic groups whose most evident hurdle to development has been the cost structure of the game.

    THE ECNL ACTION PLAN (Summary)

    To accomplish this goal, the ECNL developed a common organizational structure, composed of individual clubs operating collectively under the direction of a commissioner. Because the ECNL exists to promote the common interest of its member clubs, the ECNL operating model is unified and comprehensive and values accessibility and sustainability. The ECNL utilizes four primary delivery mechanisms, or platforms, for “Changing the Daily Environment:

    1. The Competition Platform;
    2. The Player Identification Platform;
    3. The Club and Coach Development Platform, and
    4. The HER Platform (a female-specific health, wellness, and rejuvenation platform).

    To summarize:  the ECNL offers the best path for top players to develop the skills and receive the exposure necessary to play for the top colleges in the United States.  For players that live in Southern Nevada, Heat FC is your only path to the ECNL.
